The Language of Neurons15th & 16th September 2023, Barcelona
Julija KrupicSpeaker
Sir Henry Dale Fellow University Lecturer at the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom.
Her research focuses on the underlying mechanism of hippocampal spatial representations and their role in navigation. She is interested in finding the causal relationship between the spatial cells in the hippocampus and parahippocampal formation and their role in navigation. Dr. Krupic is additionally working on memory mechanisms, including the way humans remember different places and the specific places we remember best (or not at all), and the way Alzheimer’s patients forget them.
